Why only one brand

Wolf cooking equipment is the whole book of work. Ranges, rangetops, cooktops, wall ovens, convection steam ovens, speed ovens, warming drawers, outdoor grills and ventilation. Nothing else is offered, and nothing else is taken on.

The practical result is stock. A shop covering fifteen brands guesses at which igniter to carry. A shop covering one does not.

What this shop does not service

Worth saying plainly, because the question arrives by phone most weeks. This is a built-in kitchen shop. Wolf cooking equipment and the ventilation over it is the whole of it.

Heating and air conditioning are not part of it and never have been. A furnace, a heat pump, an air handler, a condenser, a thermostat or the supply and return ducts that serve the rest of the house belong to an HVAC contractor, and a call about one gets told so on the telephone rather than booked and charged a diagnostic. Refrigeration, dishwashers and laundry equipment are outside the scope too.

The one duct this trade owns is the short run from a kitchen hood to its roof or wall cap, because it is part of the appliance and decides whether the blower can capture anything. That is a hood job, not an HVAC job, and the difference matters on the estimate.

Local, in a way that changes the diagnosis

Working one county means the failure mix is familiar rather than theoretical. Clay County runs roughly sixty-eight thunderstorm days a year, and the damage that follows an outage is rarely dramatic: a dark panel, an interface that lights but ignores touch, relays that chatter instead of latching. Those faults tend to surface days or weeks after the storm, not during it, which is why the question asked at booking is when the appliance last lost power.

The other local constant is the housing. Most kitchens out here are slab-on-grade under a truss attic, which puts hood ducts in long horizontal runs above the ceiling where nobody inspects them, and it puts built-in ovens into openings that were cut for whatever was on the market when the house went up. Both of those change what gets measured before a part is quoted.

None of it is guesswork about your particular unit. Whatever the pattern says, the fault is confirmed at the appliance, the estimate is written before anything is ordered, and the work carries 90 days on labor, 365 days on parts.
