The bake element let go in the middle of holiday prep. He had one on the van, changed it, then checked the terminals in the rear box because the old one had arced. Dinner went ahead about an hour late.

Wolf cooking equipment and the ventilation over it. One manufacturer, so the diagnosis starts from knowledge of the platform rather than a generic flowchart.
Sealed burners that click without lighting, burn yellow, or run uneven across the top. The dominant fault class on Clay County ranges and rangetops.
Built-in ovens that run cool, run hot, lose their display, or stop responding after a storm. Includes speed ovens and warming drawers.
No steam, weak steam, water left standing in the cavity, or a unit that stops mid-cycle. Most of these faults are in the water path, not in the board.
One zone dead, all zones dropping out, pans not detected, or a cooling fan that never stops. Glass-top cooking with no gas line involved.
Hoods that run but do not capture, blowers that howl, speeds that have gone dead, and downdrafts that will not rise. Ducting gets checked, not just the motor.
Built-in grills that will not light, run cold on one side, or have corroded from the inside out under a Florida summer.
Six pages above; nothing below them. Heating and air conditioning are a separate trade and this shop does not work in it — no furnace, no heat pump, no air handler, no condenser, no thermostat, and none of the supply or return ducting that serves the house. If that is the call, an HVAC contractor is the right number and this one will say so before a visit is booked.
Kitchen hood ducting is the near miss worth naming. The run from a Wolf hood to its roof or wall cap decides whether the blower captures anything, so it gets measured and, where it has been crushed or over-run, corrected. That is appliance work. It is not an invitation to ask about the rest of the ductwork.
Refrigeration, dishwashers and laundry are outside the scope as well. Cooking and ventilation is the whole book, deliberately, and it is why the part a call needs is usually already on the van.
One book covers every family on this page. Which band a call lands in is decided by the part that turns out to be at fault, and that is settled at the appliance, not on the phone.

The middle burner lit on the second or third try and never on the first. He found the cap chipped on one edge so the ports fired unevenly, fitted a new one, and checked the rest of the top before leaving.

The hood lights worked and the fan did nothing at all. He checked the switch and then the harness at the connectors, found a burned terminal in the plug behind the liner, and replaced that section rather than the control.
